Magda Hueckel will present works from her ‘Meanads’ (2020) and ‘Zhenshcina’ (2020) cycles, both of which tackle the subject of woman identity
The exhibition is intended as a selection of works by participants in past editions of the Young Art Biennale Fish Eye, which has been organised since 2001 and has had ten editions to date. The artists selected for the project have become a permanent feature of the Polish art landscape, and their works and productions reveal a significant diversity of attitudes and strategies. It is intriguing that, in addition to works dealing with issues of existence, especially privacy and intimacy, there are also creations interpreting current social reality or redefining the past and our identity.
