The Good Morning exhibition officially inaugurates the activity of the JEDNOSTKA Gallery in its new seat at 13 Andersa Street in Warsaw. It will be a welcome event for our viewers, an introduction to the place, and a presentation of the gallery’s main areas of interest. The exhibition will mainly consist of new works by the artists associated with JEDNOSTKA, which refer to the titular welcome and thus to a beginning and novelty.
Weronika Gęsicka will invite you to use a mysterious machine, Andrzej Tobis will reveal a new entry from his Polish-German dictionary, Rafał Milach will examin the gallery space, Andrzej Kramarz will tell about creating new lands, and Tomek Tyndyk about rebirth. Maciej Pisuk will introduce you to one of the residents of the Warsaw’s Praga district.
We have invited a special guest, the Archeology of Photography Foundation, which was the former occupant of the 13 Andersa Street premises. At the Good Morning show, the Foundation will go back to its own beginnings under the address in 2011 and will present the art created at the time by Karolina Breguła.
Looking with respect and affection on our immediate surroundings, we will display an object by Dorota Buczkowska inspired by the 19th-century Polish composer Tekla Bądarzewska, after whom the square adjacent to to gallery is named.
