Exhibition: 25.05–09.07.2021
Place: Galeria Foto-Gen, Ośrodek Kultury i Sztuki we Wrocławiu (OKiS), pl. bpa Nankiera 8, 50-140 Wrocław, Poland
Built out if three separate cycles, the exhibition carries a coherent message, consistent with the artist’s life and creative work. In her constant travels, the artist discovers truths about the essence of abiding in the rich and diverse natural world, about mutual relations and responsibility.
The exhibition starts with works from the ‘Anima. Images from Africa 2005–2013’ – black and white photographs that capture elements of the African world. The main theme of the works is the inevitability of passing.

The Romanesque gallery room features works from the two series ‘In My Garden’ and ‘Primavera’. The world created in colorful collages (a combination of motifs from the natural world and the human body) shatters the boundary between the known orders of existence. The hybrid organisms created by the artist exist in symbiosis because it is the only way to develop and it is also a chance for man, even if (as in the ‘Primavera’ series) he disappears in the thicket of spring vegetation.
